LocoMojo is more than a band — it's a musical experience built by some of the most seasoned performers in the New York area. With collective decades of studio sessions, national tours, and legendary stages under their belts, these musicians bring a depth of talent that transforms every performance into something truly special.

Rooted in New Orleans Funk, Southern Soul, Classic R&B, and Classic Rock, LocoMojo channels the spirit of the Bourbon Street experience — vibrant, joyful, and unfogetable.

Experience:
35+ years of stage and studio mastery. Bob has shared the stage with Black Sabbath at Jones Beach, opened for Motörhead and White Zombie, and logged session work with Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Freddy Scott and Kenny Simmons of the Commodores. A true guitarist's guitarist.

– Toured with Temptress, Lewd Buddha and One Step Beyond.
– Session work with Kenny Simmons of the Commodores,
– Session work with Blues great Mason Casey.

– Session work with Rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame legend Freddy Scott.
– Session and tour work with Fusion guitarist Joaquin Lievano.
– 4 consecutive years in house band at The Bitter End (Lewd Buddha).
– Shared the stage with Black Sabbath at Jones Beach Theater.
– Opened for Motörhead and White Zombie.

Experience:

45+ years of professional playing, including concert master status in symphonic performance and steady studio work. Pete's low-end is the groove that holds it all together.

– Member of the popular 90s power trio, Causticlasm.

– Performed with several professional cover bands.

– Currently in several alternative projects including metal, rock & funk.

Influences:

Including but not limited to The Beatles, Van Halen, ZZ Top, Metallica, Iron Maiden, King’s X, Rush, Funk, R&B, early HipHop, and even my Mom, who performed in several barbershop quartets and choirs.

"45+ years behind the kit. Andy has toured and recorded nationally, opened for George Clinton & P-Funk and Rusted Root, and brings a rhythmic foundation rooted in jazz, funk, and everything in between.

Christian Brugger
Violin / Mandolin

Experience:

A classically trained violinist since age 5 with 40+ years of experience, Christian brings a unique sonic dimension to LocoMojo — equal parts New Orleans street corner and Carnegie Hall. First violin was a crackerjack box as part of the Suzuki School. Learned Classical Guitar while living in Central America.

– Performing with several Contemporary Christian Worship Bands.
– Member of the contemporary Jazz group, Soul Progression.

Influences:

More influenced by styles and genres than particular artists — Bossa Nova, Brazilian Jazz, Classical Latin Guitar, New Age, Bebop Jazz, Blues, Christian and Classic Gospel music.

35+ years performing, with credits including Lewd Buddha, Midnight Chowder, and opening slots for Rusted Root, Edwin McCain, and Howie Day. Jonathan's voice, showmanship, technical savvy and unwavering spirit is the heart of LocoMojo.

Elvis, Springsteen, Beatles, Stones, Roy Orbison, Paul Simon, Billy and Elton, George Michael, Rob Thomas, Bob Valderrama and Frank Malabe

40+ years on the bandstand, with recordings on Blackhawk Records and appearances with the New York Roots Music Association. Dr. Fred's horns bring the authentic NOLA flavor that sets LocoMojo apart.

– Featured artist, performed with Hollywood, Flashback, the Belairs, the Phantoms of Soul, Rapidfire, Cover to Cover, and The History of Rock and Roll.
– Performed in venues nationwide with several bands.
